Quan Su Pagoda

On New Year's Eve and the first day of the Lunar New Year every year, Quan Su Pagoda is always a spiritual destination that attracts a large number of locals and tourists.

Quan Su Pagoda is a sacred and ancient temple, and also serves as the headquarters of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Association in Hanoi . In the Quan Am section of Quan Su Pagoda (Hanoi), a life-sized statue of Venerable Thich Thanh Tu, former Vice Chairman of the Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Association and former abbot of Quan Su Pagoda, is on display.

Tay Ho Temple is dedicated to Lady Lieu Hanh, who was bestowed the title of "Mother of the World" by the Nguyen dynasty and is one of Vietnam's "Four Immortals" (Son Tinh, Saint Giong, Saint Mother Lieu Hanh, and Chu Dong Tu).

On the 15th and 1st days of the lunar month, or during holidays and festivals, locals and tourists from all over often come here to pray for good fortune, peace, and prosperity, while also enjoying the impressive architecture of the temple and the beautiful scenery of West Lake.

The highlight of the palace's architecture is the inner sanctuary and the Son Trang cave, featuring three large chambers constructed from durable, antique-style brown concrete, showcasing a timeless beauty.

Tran Quoc Pagoda

Tran Quoc Pagoda is one of the places that attracts a large number of locals and tourists every morning on the first day of the Lunar New Year.

Located east of West Lake, Tran Quoc Pagoda is over 1,500 years old, covering a total area of ​​over 3,000 square meters, including the pagoda garden, ancestral hall, and main sanctuary. It is one of the oldest and most sacred pagodas in Hanoi, having served as a center of Buddhism in Thang Long during the Ly and Tran dynasties.

In 2016, Tran Quoc Pagoda was included in the list of the 16 most beautiful temples in the world, as selected by the British Daily Mail .

A particularly striking feature of Tran Quoc Pagoda is the 15-meter-high, 11-story pagoda with a distinctive brick-red color, built in 1998.

Quan Thanh Temple

Located on Thanh Nien Street, besides Tran Quoc Pagoda, Quan Thanh Temple is also a popular destination for locals and tourists seeking peace and blessings at the beginning of the year.

This place is dedicated to Huyền Thiên Trấn Vũ, a nearly 4-meter-tall, 4-ton statue – one of the four deities whose temples were erected to guard the four gateways of Thăng Long citadel in the past.

According to records found on stone inscriptions and historical documents, Quan Thanh Temple was built in the early Ly Dynasty and subsequently renovated and restored many times. Furthermore, it houses many rare historical treasures dating back more than three centuries.

Ngoc Son Temple

Ngoc Son Temple is also a popular spring travel destination in Hanoi. Located within the Hoan Kiem Lake complex, the temple is dedicated to the national hero Hung Dao Dai Vuong - Tran Quoc Tuan and the deity Van Xuong De Quan, who presides over fame and fortune. In addition, it also houses a Buddhist altar and a communal hall.

The temple underwent its most elaborate renovation in 1865, overseen by Nguyen Van Sieu, a distinguished scholar from Thang Long (Hanoi). Many significant structures were added during this renovation, creating a harmonious architectural landscape for Ngoc Son Temple, including the Ngoc Son Temple itself, The Huc Bridge, the Pen Tower, and the Inkstone Platform.
