Dai Ninh Pass reopens to traffic after landslide on the morning of November 2

At around 6:30 a.m. on November 2, at Km48 National Highway 28B - Dai Ninh Pass area (Phan Son commune, Lam Dong province), a landslide occurred, causing traffic on the route to be temporarily blocked.

Landslide causes traffic disruption

Immediately after the incident, the People's Committee of Phan Son commune mobilized police, military and militia forces to coordinate with Project Management Board 5 to urgently fix the scene.

Mr. Mai Hong Dang, Chairman of Phan Son Commune, directed to fix the problem.

Authorities also quickly regulated traffic and directed vehicles to other routes to ensure safety.

At about 9:30 this morning, vehicles were traveling one way through the landslide site.

By around 9:30 a.m. the same day, vehicles were able to move one way through the landslide site. By 11 a.m., the basic repair work was completed, and traffic on Dai Ninh Pass was smooth again.

Currently, functional forces are still on duty, closely monitoring weather and geological developments in the area to promptly respond if new landslides occur, ensuring safety for people and vehicles traveling on National Highway 28B.
