Vinh University of Technical Education promotes science, technology and innovation activities

On the afternoon of November 14, Vinh University of Technical Education coordinated with the Department of Science and Technology of Nghe An to organize a scientific workshop with the theme: "Solutions to promote science - technology and innovation at Vinh University of Technical Education in the new context".

Attending the program were Mr. Nguyen Quy Linh - Director of Nghe An Department of Science and Technology; scientific researchers and leaders and lecturers of Vinh University of Technical Education.

With the mission of "Training technical human resources with high quality, creativity and adaptability to the knowledge economy ", Vinh University of Technical Education identifies the development of science and technology and the building of an endogenous innovation ecosystem as key tasks. This is the basis for realizing Resolution 57/NQ-CP; promoting technology transfer from lecture halls to businesses and the community; at the same time, creating a foundation for the "Innovative University" model associated with local practical needs.

The 2025 school-level scientific conference is an important forum for experts, managers and lecturers to exchange practical scientific and technological activities of the School in recent times; share experiences from pioneering models; and propose breakthrough solutions to build an open and modern scientific and technological ecosystem, contributing to affirming the position of the School in the technical university sector in the North Central region.

Speaking at the program, Dr. Thai Huu Nguyen - Vice Principal of the school emphasized: With the collective intelligence, dedication of scientists, experts and the spirit of unity of staff and lecturers, we will build practical, feasible and breakthrough solutions. Those orientations will be concretized by actions, contributing to making Vinh University of Technical Education become an advanced higher education institution, a leading center of innovation and technology application in the region.

At the conference, many presentations also clarified the role of international cooperation in higher education. In the context of extensive globalization, international cooperation not only improves the quality of training and research but also opens up opportunities for academic exchange, access to advanced educational programs, and contributes to raising the status of the school.
