According to the conference's organizing committee, after the country's reunification, the work of researching, collecting and preserving relics of President Ho Chi Minh was widely deployed, demonstrating the sentiments and sense of responsibility of the entire nation.
The President Ho Chi Minh Museum and Monument System is a special museum-heritage institution in the national museum network of Vietnam. Currently, the system consists of 14 member units in regions of the country. Each unit is an important link, reflecting the spatial stages and ideological, ethical and cultural values of the President.

In Hue , where he lived and studied for about 10 years. In 1979, the Exhibition House on the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh in Hue was formed. In 1980, the Ho Chi Minh Binh Tri Thien Museum was officially established.
In 1982, the Museum officially joined the system of Museums and Monuments of President Ho Chi Minh nationwide, becoming an important member in the network of museums and monuments of Uncle Ho. From 2025, the museum will be called Ho Chi Minh Museum of Hue City.

Hue City is the locality with the largest number of relics associated with President Ho Chi Minh compared to other localities in the country, with nearly 20 relics and relic sites related to him. In particular, the system of President Ho Chi Minh relics in Hue includes 4 main relics: Memorial House No. 112 Mai Thuc Loan, Memorial House in Duong No village, Duong No village communal house, and Hue National School, which were ranked as special national relics by the Prime Minister in 2020.

Thereby, affirming the outstanding value of this relic system not only for the locality but also for the history and culture of the nation. At the same time, opening up great opportunities for the management, preservation and promotion of the value of the relics, in which the Ho Chi Minh Museum plays a core role, connecting and spreading the value of the heritage.
Ms. Le Thuy Chi, Director of Ho Chi Minh Museum in Hue City, said: From the early days of difficulties in facilities and human resources, museum staff and researchers persevered in restoring relics, collecting and preserving artifacts, gradually forming a vivid display system about President Ho Chi Minh's youth in Hue.
Today, the system of relics and museums has become an important “red address”, attracting researchers, veterans, students and tourists. Exhibitions, educational activities and cultural coordination spread the values of Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style into community life.
