The above information was stated by Associate Professor, Dr. Le Dinh Tung, Vice Rector of Hanoi Medical University at the 2025 Admission Selection Day, held at the University of Science and Technology this morning, July 19.

Specifically, majors with a benchmark score of over 28 points last year, such as Medicine, will not see much change. Majors in the lower groups are expected to see a slight decrease, following the general trend of the high school graduation exam score distribution that has just been announced.

According to Associate Professor Dr. Le Dinh Tung, this year's benchmark score also depends on the adjustment and balance between the admission combinations, details of which are provided by the Ministry of Education and Training . Therefore, candidates should stay calm, because the chance of admission is divided equally among all of them.

"The conversion of exam scores between school combinations is carried out in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the coefficient announced by the Ministry," said Mr. Tung.

This year, Hanoi Medical University will enroll more than 1,900 students through two methods: direct admission and high school graduation exam scores.

The school uses 5 admission groups, including B00 (Math, Chemistry, Biology), B08 (Math, Biology, English), C00 (Literature, History, Geography), D01 (Math, Literature, English), A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry). This is also the first time the school has recruited the A00 group.

With the method of considering high school graduation exam scores, the school adds points to candidates with international language certificates equivalent to IELTS 5.5 or higher with a score of 1-2 points.

Last year, the admission score to Hanoi Medical University based on high school graduation exam scores ranged from 19 to 28.83. The highest score was in Psychology in group C00. If only counting the traditional combination B00, Medicine took the lead with 28.27 points. The lowest score was 19 points applied to the majors of Medical Laboratory Technology and Rehabilitation Technology at the Thanh Hoa branch.

This year's school tuition is around 16.9-62.2 million VND, an increase of 1.9-10 million VND compared to last year.
