Baoquocte.vn. Within the framework of activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024), Dien Bien province will participate in the National Mobile Propaganda Contest and the Exhibition of large-scale propaganda paintings.

Accordingly, the National Mobile Propaganda Competition will take place from March 26 to April 2, 2024 with the participation of 39 delegations from provinces and cities across the country. Each participating unit will create a comprehensive art program with high propaganda and artistic value; priority will be given to performances with strong local cultural identity.

In Dien Bien province, the contest was held at the following locations: Muong Cha district; Tuan Giao district; Muong Ang district; Dien Bien district; Dien Bien Phu city; Infantry Battalion 1; Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union; Provincial Police; Regiment 82 - Division 355 - Military Region II.

Activities within the framework of the competition include: on March 30, the second-line troupes (15 troupes) performed for the people in 3 districts: Tuan Giao, Muong Ang, Dien Bien. On March 31, the first-line troupes (19 troupes) performed for the people at 6 locations: Infantry Battalion 1, Muong Cha district and Dien Bien Phu city; the second-line troupes (20 troupes) performed at 3 locations: Regiment 82, Provincial Youth Union and Provincial Police.

The contest aims to praise the spirit of patriotism, revolutionary heroism, the strength of national unity, the will of self-reliance, overcoming difficulties and challenges of our army and people under the leadership of the Party, creating the historic Dien Bien Phu Victory "Resounding throughout five continents, shaking the world".

The great stature, historical value and profound significance of the Dien Bien Phu Victory for the nation and the era; Affirming the Vietnamese mettle and intelligence, the determination to fight and win and the strength of the People's Army and the People's Armed Forces of Vietnam are the decisive factors for all victories of the Vietnamese revolution.

The great merits and contributions of generations of heroes, martyrs, wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, youth volunteers, frontline laborers and people of all walks of life in the resistance war against the French colonialists and typical examples of youth contributing to the cause of building and developing the homeland and the country.

The economic - cultural - social, national defense and security achievements of the country, the locality in general and Dien Bien province in particular over the past 70 years. Introduce, promote and develop the unique and typical traditional cultural and artistic values of the locality.

In addition, the Large-Panel Propaganda Painting Exhibition is scheduled to take place from March to April 2024 in Vinh Phuc, Phu Tho, and Dien Bien provinces. In Dien Bien province, the opening ceremony of the Large-Panel Propaganda Painting Exhibition is scheduled to take place on the morning of April 2 at 7/5 Square, Dien Bien Phu City, Dien Bien Province.

Large-scale propaganda paintings were exhibited to serve the people and tourists at 7-5 Square, Dien Bien Phu City. After the end of the exhibition, the Department of Grassroots Culture - Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism handed over the exhibition paintings to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dien Bien province for further promotion and effectiveness.

The organization of the Contest and Exhibition aims to practically celebrate the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory; widely propagate the Party's policies and the State's laws to cadres, soldiers, ethnic people in the Northwestern provinces in particular and people across the country in general.
