On the afternoon of February 7th, at the Vinh Long Provincial Business Incubator, the Provincial Startup Advisory Council (the Council) organized a Business Forum to support students in developing feasible startup ideas, incorporating a summary of the Council's activities for 2025.

Mr. Nguyen Van Vu An, M.Sc. - Director of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center and Director of the Business Incubator of Vinh Long province; Mr. Lam Van Phuong - Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union of the school and Deputy Director of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center; members of the Council; and students with startup ideas attended.

At the forum, delegates and students had the opportunity to exchange ideas with speakers and experts on how businesses can support students in developing viable startup ideas, and to discuss mechanisms for supporting students in developing viable startup ideas between businesses and universities. In addition, businesses and students discussed several startup ideas together…

The Vinh Long Provincial Startup Advisory Council, launched on September 20, 2025, has been operating for nearly four months. During this time, the Council has participated in key training programs such as the Startup Idea Incubation Program and the Student Support Program, attracting nearly 320 students and providing over 64 hours of lectures from experts. This has helped students access practical knowledge and develop entrepreneurial thinking. Over 20 Council members have participated in workshops, seminars, forums, and training sessions at universities, colleges, and high schools in the region, reaching over 400 students and contributing to the spread of the entrepreneurial spirit and innovation. Over 30 Council members have directly mentored numerous projects. In addition, the Council has supported startup competitions, enhanced advisory capacity, and conducted professional activities related to entrepreneurship.

On this occasion, the Provincial Business Incubator advised Tra Vinh University to commend 14 members who have made positive contributions to the Council's activities in 2025 and to present decisions to add more members to the Council.

Mr. Nguyen Van Vu An, Director of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, emphasized: In the context of innovative entrepreneurship increasingly demanding practicality and implementation capabilities, strengthening collaboration between businesses, schools, and students is of particular importance. In the coming time, the Provincial Entrepreneurship Advisory Council will continue to play its role in supporting and advising student entrepreneurs, contributing to improving operational efficiency and closer alignment with the practical needs of businesses, schools, and students.
