Attending the ceremony were representatives of leaders of agencies, departments, and units of the district; delegates of communes and towns; commune leaders and commune officials of different periods; enterprises inside and outside the district; departments, branches, unions and a large number of local people.
Proud of its 70-year history, especially in recent years, the cadres and people in the commune have been determined and made efforts to overcome difficulties and build their homeland. In 1995, the commune was honored to be awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces by the State; in 2015, it was recognized as a commune that met the New Rural standards - one of the leading units in the socio -economic development of Dien Chau district.
Inheriting and promoting the revolutionary tradition, Dien Ky commune is now developing steadily. The annual economy grows steadily at a fairly good rate, the economic structure has shifted positively.
In the new rural construction movement, with the viewpoint of "New rural construction has no stopping point", from the success of the commune meeting the new rural construction standards in 2015, Dien Ky commune continued to focus all resources on building an advanced new rural commune. With the synchronous participation of the entire political system and the people, in 2021, Dien Ky was recognized by the Provincial People's Committee as a commune meeting the advanced new rural standards (period 2016 - 2021).
Along with focusing on building and completing essential infrastructure, Dien Ky commune also continues to promote its potential and strengths in agricultural economic development; proactively building many models suitable to local conditions.
Culture, health, education have developed, and for many years, Dien Chau district has been the leading unit. National defense has been maintained, political security, and social order and safety have been ensured. Party building and political system building have received special attention. People's trust in the leadership of the Party and the administration of the government has continuously increased.
With the achievements, the Party Committee, government and people of Dien Ky commune were honored to receive many Certificates of Merit and Certificates of Merit from the province and district over the years.
Excited and proud of the great achievements after 70 years of establishment of the commune, the Party Committee, government and people of Dien Ky are actively and effectively implementing the Resolution of the Party Congresses at all levels, term 2020-2025.
In particular, maintain and continuously improve the quality of the criteria for communes meeting advanced new rural standards and move towards building Dien Ky to meet the standards of a model new rural commune. The goal by 2025 is to shift the economic structure of industry and services in the commune to 90%, reduce the proportion of agriculture to 10%, and average income per capita to reach 80-85 million VND/year. Maintain the commune meeting national standards on health, the rate of people participating in health insurance reaching 98% or more. Strive for the commune to have no poor households, all 3 schools to maintain national standards, and the rate of cultural families to reach over 95%. 100% of villages will achieve and maintain the title of Cultural Village, maintain the title of commune meeting cultural and sports institution standards, etc.
Promoting the achieved results, in the coming time, Dien Ky commune will continue to mobilize all resources to improve the quality of NTM criteria, towards building a model NTM; effectively maintain and replicate safe mushroom production models, products with local advantages and strengths.
Along with that, continue to propagate and mobilize people to actively participate in patriotic emulation movements launched at all levels. Pay attention to social security work, do a good job of people with revolutionary contributions, create jobs, reduce poverty sustainably and do a good job of caring for and protecting people's health; continue to effectively carry out national defense and security work in the locality.
