EVNCPC basically restored the power grid after floods in the Central region.
Currently, EVNCPC only has 2,290 customers, equivalent to 0.05%, who cannot be supplied with electricity due to the site being flooded and traffic being cut off.
The distribution transformer station system has also been almost completely restored. Of the 14,019 affected stations, the units have re-energized 13,988 stations (99.78%), only 31 stations (0.05%) in the flooded area are still being processed. The capacity that cannot be supplied is estimated at 2.4 MW, equivalent to 0.06% of EVNCPC's maximum capacity.
At units where customers still have power outages, recovery work is being urgently deployed: Gia Lai has 768 customers and 9 distribution stations (estimated unsupplied capacity of 1.5 MW); Dak Lak has 1,512 customers and 21 distribution stations (estimated unsupplied capacity of 0.9 MW); Khanh Hoa (old Ninh Thuan area) has 10 customers and 1 distribution station, unsupplied capacity of about 0.01 MW.
In addition to restoring the power grid, EVNCPC's working teams continue to support people in checking and instructing them on safe electricity use after the meter reading, and reviewing the electrical system in their homes to ensure safety when returning to daily life after the flood.
