Congratulatory message on the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Cuba

General Secretary To Lam sent a congratulatory letter, President Luong Cuong, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man sent congratulatory messages to the leaders of the Cuban Party and State on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.

On the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Republic of Cuba (December 2, 1960 - December 2, 2025), on December 2, 2025, General Secretary To Lam sent a congratulatory letter to the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, President of the Republic of Cuba Miguel Díaz-Canel. The letter reads:

“In the spirit of being both comrades and brothers, generations of leaders and people of the two countries have worked hard to cultivate, constantly consolidate and firmly build the traditional relationship of loyalty, solidarity and mutual assistance between the two Parties, States and peoples. Overcoming many historical events and ups and downs, the Vietnam-Cuba relationship has become a priceless common asset of the two peoples, a shining model in international relations.

I firmly believe that, with the solid foundation of the close friendship that has been forged and tested over the past 65 years, and with the high political determination of the leaders of the two countries, the close brotherly relationship between Vietnam and Cuba will continue to develop deeply and effectively, bringing benefits to the people and serving the sustainable development goals of the two countries, actively contributing to peace , stability and prosperity of the two regions and the world."

On this occasion, President Luong Cuong, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man sent congratulatory messages to First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, President of the Republic of Cuba Miguel Díaz-Canel, Cuban Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz and President of the National Assembly of People's Power of Cuba Esteban Lazo Hernandez.

On the same day, Foreign Minister Le Hoai Trung sent a congratulatory message to Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parilla./.
