On the occasion of the 76th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and China (January 18, 1950 - January 18, 2026), on behalf of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Member of the Political Bureau, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, and Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, sent a congratulatory message to Mr. Wang Huning, Member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China and Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC).

The congratulatory message read:

On the occasion of the 76th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and China (January 18, 1950 - January 18, 2026), on behalf of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and in my personal capacity, I would like to extend to Chairman Wang Huning and all comrades in the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference my warmest congratulations and most sincere friendship.

I am very pleased to note that over the past 76 years, the traditional friendship and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and China have been continuously strengthened and developed, becoming a precious asset diligently cultivated by generations of leaders and people of both countries. Under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Communist Party of China, the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between Vietnam and China continues to achieve many important accomplishments, bringing practical benefits to the people of both countries and making positive contributions to peace, stability, and development in the region and the world.

The Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front highly appreciates the role and important contributions of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference in promoting friendly exchanges and cooperation between the peoples of the two countries, contributing to strengthening mutual understanding and consolidating the social foundation for the sustainable development of Vietnam-China relations. I believe that, based on the motto "friendly neighborliness, comprehensive cooperation, long-term stability, and looking towards the future" and the spirit of "being both comrades and brothers," the friendly cooperative relationship between our two organizations will continue to be strengthened in the future, making practical contributions to further deepening the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between the two Parties, the two States, and the peoples of the two countries.

On this occasion, I would like to wish Chairman Wang Huning good health, happiness, and success; wish the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference continued development; and wish the friendship between Vietnam and China to remain ever vibrant and enduring for generations to come.
