Condolences on the apartment fire that caused great damage in Hong Kong (China)

Upon hearing that on November 26, in Hong Kong (China), a fire broke out at an apartment complex causing great loss of life and property to local people, on November 27, Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung sent a telegram of condolences to Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (China) Lee Ka-Chiu.

Also on November 27, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that according to updated information from the Vietnamese Consulate General in Hong Kong and Macau (China), up to now, there have been no recorded cases of Vietnamese citizens affected by the fire.

As of the same afternoon, the apartment fire in Tai Po district, Hong Kong (China) the day before had killed at least 55 people, injured 72 people and left nearly 300 people missing.
