On November 29, Osen newspaper reported that actor Lee Moon Soo passed away at the age of 76, according to the announcement of the Korean Stage Actors Association.
The funeral will be held at Funeral Hall No. 2, Hanyang University Hospital. The funeral will take place at 8:20 a.m. on December 1.
Dedicate a lifetime to art
Lee Moon Soo was born in March 1949 in Yangpyeong, Gyeonggi Province (South Korea). When he was young, he worked as a civil servant to support his family's finances , but his passion for acting never faded.
He then attended Seoul Arts College, officially starting his artistic career. In 1989, he joined the National Theater of Korea and became a mainstay of the troupe for many years.

During his time at the National Theater of Korea, he participated in many outstanding works such as Problematic Human Yeonsan, 1984, Seagull, King Lear, bringing emotional and humane performances, becoming a solid support for the plays.
Notably, he shared the stage with the late actor Lee Soon Jae in plays such as Death of a Salesman and Shiheon .
Not only shining on stage, Lee Moon Soo also left a special mark on the big screen and television.
He became a familiar face through famous films such as Hello Ghost, Signal (tvN), The Great Heir (SBS)...
In 2010, Lee Moon Soo was honored to receive a certificate of merit from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Korea, recognizing his long-term contributions to the arts.
During a time when the life of a stage artist was facing many difficulties, he once shared: "Besides acting, I don't want to do anything else."
