- Many audiences were surprised to see Ngoc Thanh Tam - a "rich young lady" - being very capable, from cooking, going to the market to working in the fields. What is the secret that helps her adapt quickly to a harsh environment like in Lien village?

I love cooking and baking, I once opened an online bakery and during the quarantine period I often explored dishes from Asia to Europe, so kitchen work is not unfamiliar. The difficulty is that I have never experienced farming, at first it will take time to get used to. But I believe if farmers and people in Lien village can do it, I can too, as long as I have the will and effort.

- In "Family haha", Ngoc Thanh Tam always says "I'm ok, I can do it, I'm fine". What helps you stay so positive, even when facing new challenges?

There These are the words I always keep in my mind before starting to do something. The words I just said to everyone are also the words I say to myself. Sometimes I am also afraid but I think that as long as I have faith and try hard, I will overcome the challenges.

- Which moment in "Haha Family" makes you feel happiest or most proud of yourself, especially when people comment that you "work hard" and "are not afraid of difficulties"?

In Family haha , every moment makes me remember and happy because I don't always have the opportunity to experience like that. But the happiest and proudest moment is when I overcome physical fatigue, use my will to complete strenuous activities to gain more knowledge and appreciate everyday life more.

Never felt pressure to prove "rich but still good"

- Graduating with honors from RMIT with a scholarship, does Ngoc Thanh Tam ever feel pressured to prove that she is "rich but still talented" in the public eye?

Actually, I have never put pressure on myself to prove anything. Studying well and receiving a scholarship at RMIT is a goal I set for myself, not to compare or respond to prejudice. I believe that, regardless of your background, knowledge is always essential and no one can take it away. When you have the conditions, you need to know how to take advantage of it to develop yourself.

- The audience was impressed by Ngoc Thanh Tam's friendliness and politeness when communicating, even with hotel staff or Lien villagers. Is that something you learned from your family or did you practice yourself?

I think it’s a combination of both. Since childhood, my family taught me to respect and treat everyone with kindness, regardless of who they are or what they do. As I grew up, my experience taught me that the way I treat others will be treated in return, so I always choose to behave the way I want to be treated. Being approachable and polite has become second nature to me.

- Ngoc Thanh Tam once mentioned her mother with love and admiration. How has she influenced the way you live and work, from your artistic work to simple things like cooking?

I am lucky to have a mother who is always there and supports me like a true best friend. She does everything with all her heart but still maintains a positive spirit, which teaches me that in work or in life, you have to make an effort. She also taught me how to learn by myself, if I like something, I will know how to find a teacher or a reliable source of information to learn and learn more.

- If you could choose the greatest value that "Haha Family" brings to Ngoc Thanh Tam, what would it be?

For me, the greatest value that Family haha ​​brings is the feeling of peace. The program gives me the opportunity to slow down, connect with many people and experience things I have never tried before. Each challenge, each conversation with the people helps me see life as bigger and more colorful. Most importantly, I realize that happiness sometimes comes from very simple things: a shared meal, a smile or a warm hug.

Perhaps the most memorable was when Thanh Duy taught me to sing “Your name is Tay Thi”. He unexpectedly shared the same energy with me, creating a harmonious interaction that no one expected. I also apologize to the audience if this song is stuck in my head because I still can’t get it out of my head.

- As an actress who has participated in many reality shows, what does Ngoc Thanh Tam find the biggest challenge in having to balance between expressing your true self and maintaining your public image?

When the camera is rolling 24/7, it is difficult to maintain an image because I am just a normal person, with sadness and happiness, strength and weakness, excitement and anger like everyone else.
