Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee decided to adjust the title from "General planning for urban construction of Binh Minh, Thang Binh district, period to 2020 and 2030" to "General planning for new urban area of Binh Minh, Thang Binh district, period to 2030 and 2045".
The decision also changed the goal from "Meeting procedural requirements to recognize Binh Minh as a type V urban area by 2020" to "Meeting procedural requirements to recognize Binh Minh as a type V urban area by 2025".
In addition, the preliminary population forecast was adjusted from about 10,000 people by 2020 and about 15,000 people by 2030 to about 25,000 people by 2025 and about 55,000 people by 2045. In addition, the Provincial People's Committee also decided to adjust the time to complete this project in 2024.
