At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Ky - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Quang Ninh province - presented the decision to transfer and assign Mr. Cao Ngoc Tuan - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Director of the Quang Ninh Provincial Tax Department - to work at the Quang Yen Town Party Committee and appointed him to join the Town Party Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Town Party Committee, and hold the position of Secretary of the Quang Yen Town Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
Highly appreciating Mr. Cao Ngoc Tuan's efforts and contributions during his work, Quang Ninh Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Xuan Ky emphasized that Mr. Cao Ngoc Tuan is considered by the province to be a capable cadre, having held many important positions, and is highly appreciated by the people, cadres, civil servants, public employees and the Party Committee.
In particular, in the past 6 years as Party Secretary and Director of the Provincial Tax Department, Mr. Cao Ngoc Tuan has led and directed the Provincial Tax Department to make a breakthrough in innovation of the organizational model as well as improving the effectiveness and efficiency of operations.
Quang Ninh is the first locality in the country to implement the model of restructuring district-level tax branches into units in a streamlined, effective and efficient manner, becoming a typical example of the whole country. With the efforts of the financial sector, including the Provincial Tax Department, Quang Ninh province has always been a locality with high budget revenue, with growth each year always being among the top in the country.
Quang Yen is a locality with a particularly important position in the overall development of the province, with the development triangle of Hanoi - Hai Phong - Quang Ninh and the Red River Delta region.
In recent years, the Central and the province have paid attention and prioritized investment resources to complete infrastructure, especially traffic infrastructure for the town. In the period of 2020 - 2023 alone, the total investment capital for traffic infrastructure projects in Quang Yen town is over 8,000 billion VND. In particular, there are many dynamic traffic infrastructure projects such as: the connecting road from Ha Long - Hai Phong expressway to Dong Trieu town, Rung bridge, Lai Xuan bridge.
Since the beginning of the term, Quang Yen has attracted 41 new investment projects with a total investment capital of over 5 billion USD, including 33 foreign direct investment projects. With its achievements and results, Quang Yen is a typical example of the breakthrough development of Quang Ninh province in recent years.
