Korean Central Television (KCTV) aired the one-and-a-half-hour documentary "Historical Moment: Setting a New Milestone in North Korea-Russia Relations" on September 21.
The documentary gives a comprehensive look at Kim's 10-day foreign trip to Russia.

According to the Korea Herald, Mr. Kim began his journey by train from Pyongyang to Russia on September 10 to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin and visit cities in the region. Mr. Kim returned to Pyongyang on the evening of September 19 (local time).
The documentary shows Mr Kim's armoured Mercedes-Benz, decorated with the North Korean national flag and the flag of the State Affairs Commission of North Korea, accompanied by a convoy of black vehicles.

One of the vehicles in the convoy bears the distinctive Hyundai Motor “H” emblem. The vehicle appears to be part of Hyundai’s Staria line. Other vehicles in the convoy also bear similar logos.
In the documentary, images of cars with the Hyundai logo continuously appeared from the time Mr. Kim arrived in Vladivostok on September 16 until he left the next day as well as at many other locations in Russia.
South Korea's Unification Ministry finds North Korea's decision to publicly display the Hyundai logo unusual.
This is in contrast to previous cases, such as the broadcast of matches at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, when KCTV covered up Hyundai car advertisements in the stadium to the point of being unrecognizable.
A senior official at the South Korean Unification Ministry said on September 21 that the agency could not immediately confirm North Korea's intentions through the broadcast of the Hyundai logo, nor could it determine whether the cars were provided by Russia or brought from North Korea.
In another development, the South Korean Foreign Ministry announced on September 21 that it was imposing new sanctions on 10 individuals and two entities involved in North Korea's nuclear program and arms trade with three countries, including Russia.
North Korea's defense minister and military chief of staff are among those facing new sanctions, Reuters reported.
