On the afternoon of December 9, Doctor CKII Dang Huu Chien, Director of Gia Lai Provincial Children's Hospital, informed that the health of the newborn girl who was abandoned in the middle of a garden, part of her body buried, and had many scratches on her face in Ia Mo commune (Gia Lai) has stabilized.
" The mission of the medical team in the hospital was to save the girl in time in a state of respiratory failure, with many scratches on her face and insect bites on her body.
Currently, the baby's health is stable, and the hospital has also reported to local authorities and functional forces to clarify the above incident ," Dr. Chien informed.

According to a previous report from Ia Mo Commune Police, on the evening of December 8, Mr. Ro Lan Bik, a worker at Chu Pah Rubber Company (residing in Ia Mo Commune, Gia Lai Province) was working when he heard the cry of a newborn baby in the rubber garden behind.
Approaching the place where the crying sound came from, Mr. Bik discovered a dog digging, underneath which a newborn baby girl was buried. Seeing this, Mr. Bik and some workers quickly brought the baby into the unit's office and reported to the authorities.
Immediately afterwards, Ia Mo Commune Police arrived with workers to perform first aid. Initially, it was determined that the newborn baby was female, with the umbilical cord still intact, and the baby's forehead had many scratches suspected to have been caused by animals.
After initial first aid, Ia Mo Commune Police and doctors at the Commune Health Station took the child to Gia Lai Provincial Children's Hospital for further health monitoring.

Here, doctors performed a general examination and discovered that the patient had mild respiratory failure, many scratches on his face, and many red spots on his forearms and legs suspected to be caused by insect bites.
Doctors then injected antibiotics because they were concerned that the baby could get an infection in the outside environment, and also gave him oxygen and intravenous fluids.
Currently, Gia Lai province authorities are still investigating the cause of the newborn baby girl being abandoned in the middle of a rubber garden, with half her body buried.
