On the afternoon of July 9, Hai Chau District Police ( Da Nang City) said they were coordinating with the Criminal Police Department of Da Nang City Police and several professional units to investigate the suspect in the slashing case.
Previously, at around 8:30 a.m. on July 7, Mr. N.D.H (38 years old, living on Phan Dang Luu Street, Hoa Cuong Bac Ward, Hai Chau District) had just gotten out of the car and was about to enter the house when a person approached from behind and slashed him twice with a knife, causing Mr. H. to fall down.

After slashing someone in the middle of the street, the subject jumped onto the motorbike of his accomplice waiting nearby and ran away.
Mr. H. was taken to the emergency room with a lot of blood loss, a cut on his right thigh about 20 cm long and a wound on his right hand because Mr. H. raised his hand to block it.
Upon receiving the report, the Criminal Police Department of Da Nang City Police coordinated with Hai Chau District Police to focus on the investigation. Through camera footage, the police suspected that the two suspects involved in the slashing of Mr. H. were the two people waiting at the coffee shop near Mr. H's house.
The motorcycle license plate number recorded through verification was also a fake. Working with the police, Mr. H. suspected that the cause of the slashing was related to business. Mr. H. invested capital in a company to do business in mineral mines in Dai Loc District ( Quang Nam ).
Before the street slashing incident, Mr. H. had been threatened by some people with business conflicts. Currently, Da Nang City Police continue to investigate the suspect.
