Dinh Anh Hoang won the 2025 National Table Tennis Tournament for Excellent Rackets

Defeating Nguyen Duc Tuan 4-0, Dinh Anh Hoang won the men's singles championship at the 2025 National Excellent Table Tennis Tournament.

On the afternoon of October 31 at the Sports Gymnasium - Hai Phong Sports Training and Competition Center, the 2025 National Table Tennis Tournament for Excellent Racquets took place in the final matches of the men's and women's singles. This is the final day of the tournament.

In the men's singles, Dinh Anh Hoang (CAND T&T) played a great match against Nguyen Duc Tuan to win with an overwhelming score of 4-0 (11-5, 13-11, 11-5 and 11-8), thereby winning the championship.

This is the second time Anh Hoang has defeated Duc Tuan in tournaments in 2025. The previous time, Hoang "Max" defeated Duc Tuan in the final of the 2025 National Strong Team Table Tennis Tournament.

Dinh Anh Hoang, Nguyen Duc Tuan and Nguyen Anh Tu ( Hanoi ) are the top 3 male players of Vietnamese table tennis and national players participating in the most recent SEA Games. They have taken turns winning the top Vietnamese table tennis tournaments in recent years.

At last year’s National Table Tennis Tournament for Outstanding Players, Anh Tu was the men’s singles champion. This year, he was eliminated early in the quarterfinals by Le Dinh Duc (CAND T&T). Dinh Duc is also a national player and won a bronze medal for CAND T&T in this tournament.

In the women's singles, Nguyen Khoa Dieu Khanh (HCMC) won the championship after defeating Tran Mai Ngoc in the final with a score of 4-0 (11-6, 11-5, 11-5 and 11-4).

The 2025 National Excellent Racket Table Tennis Tournament will take place in Hai Phong from October 27 to October 31.

The tournament is organized by the Vietnam Sports Administration in coordination with the Hai Phong Department of Culture and Sports, to evaluate the level and select the national team for international competitions.

Immediately after the tournament ended, the Vietnamese table tennis team began to gather to prepare for the 33rd SEA Games. The team has 10 athletes, including 5 men and 5 women, aiming to win at least 1 gold medal.
