In the second training session following the 1-0 victory against host Saudi Arabia, strikers Dinh Bac and Van Thuan did not train with their teammates. The two U23 Vietnam forwards jogged lightly under the supervision of doctor Tran Huy Tho. It is likely that the duo were overworked and were doing light training to recover, rather than suffering any injuries. Both strikers appeared happy and relaxed.
The remaining players of the Vietnam U23 team are training normally. Thanh Nhàn, who suffered a hamstring injury, has also been training intensely and is ready to play. Thus, the Vietnam U23 team has no injuries and is heading into the quarter-final match against the UAE U23 team with its best possible squad.
Dinh Bac and Van Thuan jogged with doctor Tran Huy Tho. The fact that they were still wearing spiked shoes suggests that neither of them suffered any injuries.
