It is known that the working program is within the framework of the Strategic Cooperation program between the Vietnamese Ministry of Health and the Danish Ministry of the Interior and Health.
Receiving and working with the delegation were representatives of the Hung Yen Department of Health , the Board of Directors and a team of professional staff of the Hung Yen Center for Disease Control (CDC).

A delegation of Danish medical experts worked with the Hung Yen Department of Health and the Hung Yen CDC on a cooperation program.
The core content of the program is to strengthen primary health care capacity, aiming to improve the effectiveness of prevention, early detection and management of non-communicable diseases. The two sides focused on discussing the development of a plan to review, classify, strengthen and evaluate the capacity of commune health stations participating in the pilot, focusing on prevention capacity, diagnosis, consultation, health care and community outreach activities, gradually improving the quality of health services at the grassroots level.
During the working session, the Danish expert delegation directly visited the system of departments, functional rooms and testing areas of CDC Hung Yen.

Through the survey, experts highly appreciated the professional capacity and the level of modernization of equipment of the Center. In particular, CDC Hung Yen is recognized as one of the few preventive medical units in the country that simultaneously achieved two ISO quality management standards, affirming its high level of management capacity, quality control and technical testing level.
According to the Delegation's assessment, the testing system of CDC Hung Yen meets the requirements of accuracy, biosafety, operating procedures and quality management, and is qualified to synchronously deploy many advanced testing techniques, effectively serving the work of monitoring, preventing and controlling epidemics and managing non-communicable diseases.
The leaders of the Hung Yen Department of Health affirmed that the positive evaluation results of the Danish expert delegation are an important recognition of the efforts of the Hung Yen CDC team in modernizing the testing system, standardizing professional processes according to international standards, contributing to improving the quality of preventive medicine in the area.
According to the plan, the Danish expert delegation will continue to survey and work at medical facilities in the province, especially at commune health stations; participate in in-depth technical meetings and professional exchange sessions on non-communicable disease prevention and control, screening, early detection and improving primary health care capacity. The activities are expected to strengthen professional cooperation, experience sharing and technology transfer, thereby improving the quality of medical services for the people.
