At the same time, he hopes that the martyrs' relatives and local people will continue to follow the example and promote the tradition to build the homeland more and more prosperous.

On the same day, comrade Le Minh Hung and the delegation visited and presented gifts to the families of war invalids in Tu My commune and to the heroic Vietnamese mothers in Thanh Sen ward; and offered incense at Nui Nai Martyrs Cemetery - the resting place of heroes and martyrs who died for the independence and freedom of the nation.

Visiting and presenting gifts to Heroic Vietnamese Mother Nguyen Thi Toan and the family of Colonel, wounded soldier Pham Hong Son, former Commander of the Dak Lak Provincial Military Command; presenting gifts to seriously wounded and sick soldiers, relatives of martyrs' families, and families of policy beneficiaries in the area, General Phan Van Giang kindly inquired, encouraged, wished them good health, and at the same time sent the gratitude of leaders at all levels to the relatives of families who have contributed to the revolution. General Phan Van Giang affirmed that the Party, State and Army always remember the contributions of heroes, martyrs, Heroic Vietnamese Mothers, wounded and sick soldiers, people with merit, policy beneficiaries, those who have devoted their youth and blood to the revolutionary cause.

Working with the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee, General Phan Van Giang acknowledged and highly appreciated the outstanding results and achievements of the local Party Committee and government in leading and directing the successful implementation of the targets and tasks set out in the first 6 months of the year, especially in promoting the spirit of solidarity, overcoming difficulties, proactively doing well the work of preparing for merger, implementing 2-level local government and taking care of the lives of policy families and people with revolutionary contributions in the area.
General Phan Van Giang requested local Party committees and authorities to continue to pay attention and take good care of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, wounded and sick soldiers, people with meritorious services, and relatives of martyrs; and to properly implement military and military rear policies so that officers and soldiers can work with peace of mind and successfully complete their assigned tasks.
Visiting and working with the Military Command, Public Security and Border Guard Command of Dak Lak province, General Phan Van Giang requested agencies and units to actively promote the sense of responsibility, proactively coordinate to grasp the area, maintain political security, social order and safety; strictly maintain the regime of combat duty, on-duty, command duty, always be vigilant, ready to fight, not to be passive, surprised in any situation; focus on leading and directing to improve the quality of training, drills, build a regular routine, and obey discipline; be close to the people, stick with the people, proactively reach out to the people; be ready with plans to prevent and combat natural disasters, search and rescue, minimize damage to people and property when natural disasters and floods occur; actively coordinate with forces to take care of building the all-people national defense posture, associated with the people's security posture, all-people border defense and the increasingly solid people's hearts posture.

The General requested the competent agencies of the Ministry of National Defense to urgently equip the Dak Lak Provincial Military Command with additional means and materials for training and combat readiness; and support 8 infertile soldiers, each case with 50 million VND.
Towards the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, General Phan Van Giang said that the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense will donate and support Dak Lak province with 150 billion VND to build a primary and secondary boarding school for children in the border area; and requested local Party committees and authorities to direct functional agencies to survey, select locations, design and construct as soon as possible.
