The delegation from the Department of Foreign Affairs extends New Year greetings to Son Vi commune.

On the afternoon of January 19th, a delegation from the Department of Foreign Affairs, led by Mr. Nguyen Trung Thu, Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs of Tuyen Quang province, visited and extended New Year greetings to Son Vi border commune on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2026 (Year of the Horse).

At the New Year's greetings ceremony, the leaders of Son Vi commune thanked the delegation from the Department of Foreign Affairs for visiting and encouraging the officials, armed forces, and people of the commune; they also provided a general overview of the socio- economic development, national defense and security, border management and protection, the results of socio-economic development tasks in 2025, and the plan for preparing to celebrate the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026.

In his New Year's greetings speech, Comrade Nguyen Trung Thu, Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs, extended New Year wishes to the officials, people, and armed forces of Son Vi commune; commending the achievements in socio-economic development and maintaining security, order, and social safety in the border area in the past period.

Comrade Nguyen Trung Thu, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs, presented Tet gifts to Son Vi commune.

The comrade requested that Son Vi commune continue to ensure that 100% of households have a complete Tet holiday, while also guaranteeing security and order, food safety, traffic safety, and fire prevention before, during, and after Tet. Border Guard, Police, and Military forces should closely coordinate with local Party committees and authorities to organize Tet duty seriously, ensuring sufficient personnel and proactively being ready to handle any situation, contributing to helping people celebrate the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026 safely and warmly.
