The delegation included comrades: Vo Ngoc Hiep - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Van Yen - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee; Nguyen Trong Anh Dong, Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee; Colonel Nguyen Binh Son - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command; Pham Trieu - Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Vo Thi Hao - Director of the Department of Science and Technology; Le Thi Theu - Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, and a number of officials from the Provincial Party Committee Office, the Provincial People's Committee Office and representatives of a number of enterprises in Lam Dong province.

Visiting Venezuela and the beautiful capital Caracas for the first time, the delegation received a warm and friendly welcome from the host country. At the reception, Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee Tran Duc Quan expressed his gratitude and was moved by the good feelings and hospitality of the host country's leaders for the delegation. He also recalled the noble feelings, solidarity and support that the progressive forces and people of Venezuela have given to Vietnam in the past struggle for national unification, as well as in Vietnam's current renovation process.

“Many Vietnamese people still remember the story of Venezuelan guerrillas who captured an American intelligence lieutenant colonel to demand the release of hero Nguyen Van Troi, a Vietnamese special forces soldier in 1964, as a manifestation of unprecedented friendship in the history of the revolutionary struggle of oppressed peoples in the 20th century. Although Vietnam and Venezuela are geographically far apart, the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Vietnamese people always pay attention, follow and are happy with the achievements that the PSUV Party has achieved in the recent past, especially the successful organization of the 5th Congress. At the same time, we believe that the PSUV Party will successfully implement the Congress Resolution, continue to make Venezuela increasingly developed, prosperous and prosperous as President Hugo Chavez's testament left behind. The delegation, together with the Vietnamese Ambassador to the Republic of Bolivia, Venezuela and Ms. Tatiana Puigh - Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Venezuela, laid a wreath at the statue of President Ho Chi Minh on Bolivar Avenue, Caracas.

The delegation also visited and worked with the Vietnamese Embassy at Simón Bolivar Avenue, Caracas, Bolivia. At the meeting with the Embassy, the Provincial Party Secretary expressed his thanks and gave a speech, highly appreciating the role of the Ambassador personally as well as the Vietnamese Embassy in Venezuela in connecting the friendly, cooperative and socio-economic relations between the two countries, especially the support of the Embassy in helping Lam Dong province connect with local partners to exchange and cooperate in many fields.
After the working session at the Embassy, the Delegation will continue to have meetings and sign cooperation agreements in a number of fields with many leaders, organizations and businesses in Venezuela.
