Lam Dong province delegation organizes gratitude activities in Quang Tri

On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), on July 20, a delegation of the Provincial Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province led by Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam visited and paid tribute to heroic martyrs at the National Martyrs' Cemetery of Road 9, the Truong Son National Martyrs' Cemetery, the Memorial of the Special National Monument of Quang Tri Ancient Citadel and presented social security gifts in Quang Tri province.

Also participating in the delegation were Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Hoai Anh; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Tran Hong Thai; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi. Attending from Quang Tri province were Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang.

At the National Martyrs' Cemetery of Road 9 and the National Martyrs' Cemetery of Truong Son, leaders of Lam Dong and Quang Tri provinces performed the bell-ringing ceremony, laid wreaths and respectfully offered incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs; expressing deep gratitude and appreciation for the great contributions of the heroic martyrs who fought and sacrificed for the cause of national liberation and reunification.

Coming to lay wreaths and offer incense at the Memorial of the Special National Monument of Quang Tri Ancient Citadel, the delegation expressed their infinite gratitude to the heroic martyrs who fought bravely and sacrificed their lives in the 81-day and night campaign to protect Quang Tri Town and Quang Tri Ancient Citadel, becoming a sacred symbol of brave fighting spirit and aspiration for peace .

After the flower and incense offering program to pay tribute to heroic martyrs, Lam Dong province leaders symbolically presented 2 billion VND to Quang Tri province to take care of families of policy beneficiaries, families of war invalids, martyrs, and disadvantaged people in society.

The meaningful gratitude program of the Lam Dong delegation in Quang Tri province expressed gratitude for the contributions and noble sacrifices of many generations of people who were willing to sacrifice themselves for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland. At the same time, it contributed to the work of "Repaying gratitude", demonstrating the fine traditional culture of the Vietnamese people.
