The delegation of the Religious Committee - Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of the province visited and congratulated monks, nuns and Buddhists in the province on the occasion of Vu Lan festival of filial piety, Buddhist calendar 2569.

Vu Lan Festival is one of the important holidays of Buddhism, expressing the spirit of filial piety, gratitude, remembrance of parents and ancestors associated with the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source". On this occasion, on the morning of September 4, 2025, the delegation of the Religious Affairs Committee - Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of the province led by Comrade Tran Thi Thanh Huyen - Head of the delegation visited and congratulated monks, nuns and Buddhists in the province on the occasion of Vu Lan, Buddhist calendar 2569 at the Office of the Executive Committee (Diec Pagoda, Thanh Vinh Ward).

 

Warmly welcoming the visiting delegation were Most Venerable Thich Tho Lac - Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha; Most Venerable Thich Minh Hai. - Chief of the Executive Committee's Office; Venerable Thich Chau Phong - Head of the Legal Committee of the Executive Committee and Venerables , monks and nuns in the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in the province.

Here, comrade Tran Thi Thanh Huyen sent her congratulations to the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Nghe An province and the Venerables , monks , nuns, and Buddhists to welcome a peaceful and meaningful Vu Lan season.

On behalf of the Provincial Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, Most Venerable Thich Tho Lac expressed his thanks to the Head of the Committee and the Delegation for their precious feelings in visiting and congratulating the Provincial Buddhist Sangha on the occasion of the Vu Lan Festival 2025.
