At the gift-giving ceremony, leaders of Tuy An Tay commune gave an overview of the serious damage that the recent flood caused to people's lives: many houses collapsed due to landslides, deep flooding, and loss of property; many families fell into a difficult situation right before the new production season. The local government is focusing on mobilizing forces and means to overcome the consequences and support people to soon stabilize their lives.

Comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Nguyet expressed deep sympathy for the losses that households had to suffer.
He emphasized that the Provincial National Assembly Delegation always accompanies the locality and appreciates the spirit of sharing of volunteer groups that have promptly joined hands to support the people. He hopes that the commune government will continue to carefully review the damage and deploy support to the right subjects, promptly and transparently.

On this occasion, the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies presented 4 gifts to families whose relatives died in the flood; 51 gifts to households whose houses collapsed due to landslides and floods. Each gift is worth 10 million VND.
In addition, the delegation presented 125 gifts to support poor households in the commune, worth from 1 to 2 million VND each. All funds were sponsored by Cong Vu Volunteer Group.
Previously, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and Cong Vu Volunteer Group directly visited and presented gifts to people affected by floods in Hoa Xuan, Phu Hoa 2 communes and Dong Hoa ward, with a total value of more than 1.3 billion VND.

As planned, tomorrow (December 3), the delegation will continue to visit and give gifts to people affected by floods in Hoa Thinh and Son Hoa communes, with a value of more than 450 million VND.
Thus, up to now, the total support fund of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and Cong Vu Volunteer Group for people affected by floods in the eastern communes and wards of the province has reached nearly 2.6 billion VND. Thereby demonstrating the sense of responsibility and timely sharing to help people overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives soon.
