On the occasion of the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2024), on the afternoon of July 18, the provincial delegation led by Comrade Dau Thanh Tung, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, offered incense at the Pine Forest Historical and Scenic Site; visited and presented gifts to policy families in Dong Son district. Also participating were representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee; Provincial Military Command; Provincial People's Committee Office; Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs; Provincial Youth Union; Dong Son district.

In a solemn and respectful atmosphere, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dau Thanh Tung and members of the delegation offered incense at the Pine Forest Historical and Scenic Site and observed a minute of silence to commemorate the heroic martyrs who heroically sacrificed for the cause of national liberation and reunification.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee presented a gift to Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuan, wife of martyr Pham Van Ton, Toan Tan quarter (Rung Thong town).

Immediately after the incense offering ceremony, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and members of the delegation visited, encouraged and presented gifts from the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuan, wife of martyr Pham Van Ton, Toan Tan quarter (Rung Thong town); Mr. Doan Viet Binh, 51% disabled soldier, Kim Son village and Mr. Tran Van Chau, 40% disabled soldier, Hiep Khoi village (Dong Tien commune).

At the families, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee visited them about their lives, health, living conditions, listened, shared and expressed deep gratitude for the losses and sacrifices of wounded soldiers and families of policy beneficiaries in the resistance wars for national independence.

At the same time, encourage families to promote revolutionary traditions, strive to overcome difficulties, stabilize their lives, enthusiastically participate in emulation movements to develop the socio -economy, build cultural life in residential areas, and become model families and typical examples in the locality.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Party Committee and the authorities in the district to continue to pay attention to and well implement the Party and State's policies towards people with revolutionary contributions; at the same time, create material and spiritual conditions for families to continue to promote revolutionary traditions, strive to improve their lives, and contribute to building Thanh Hoa province more and more prosperous.
