Within the framework of the program, in Saint Petersburg, the Russian Federation, the Delegation worked at the Foreign Affairs Committee of Saint Petersburg, received and worked with the Delegation with Mr. Viacheslav Kalganov, Vice Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of Saint Petersburg. At the meeting, the two sides introduced basic information of each locality, and at the same time discussed and proposed a number of cooperation contents such as: Maintaining regular contact, organizing visits and exchanges between the authorities, organizations, businesses and people of the two localities; promoting cooperation in trade and logistics with the Saint Petersburg City Government in the form of organizing conferences to promote the import and export of goods, agricultural products, consumer goods, etc., promoting cooperation in information technology, digital transformation; Promoting cooperation in the field of culture - tourism , promoting images, enhancing people-to-people exchanges, promoting culture and tourism of both sides, contributing to deepening the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Vietnam and the Russian Federation.

The delegation then visited and laid flowers at the Ho Chi Minh Monument in Saint Petersburg , surveyed models of management, preservation of cultural heritage values and tourism development in Saint Petersburg city.

In Moscow, the Russian Federation, the delegation visited and worked with Mr. Vladimir Petrovich Buyanov, Chairman of the Russia - Vietnam Friendship Association and representatives of the Moscow City Government. At the meeting, the two sides discussed potential cooperation directions, focusing on the fields of environment, investment promotion, business exchange, and at the same time studied the possibility of bringing key and potential products of Lang Son such as agricultural products, processed foods, and handicraft products to the Russian market and countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).

Next, at the invitation of Mr. Vladimir Petrovich Buyanov, Chairman of the Russia - Vietnam Friendship Association, the delegation visited the Friendship Association headquarters in Moscow, where the delegation discussed cooperation in the fields of education and training, especially training in artificial intelligence and science and technology. The Russia - Vietnam Friendship Association expressed its desire to coordinate with Lang Son province to organize promotional activities through online conferences, promote cooperation in the three fields of tourism, trade, and training, as well as participate in activities within the framework of the "Government Festival" organized by the Moscow City Government.

The working program of the Delegation of Lang Son province in the Russian Federation not only opens up many new cooperation opportunities for Lang Son province but is also an opportunity to consolidate and deepen the traditional solidarity and friendship between Vietnam and the Russian Federation, strengthen the connection between the government, businesses and people of Lang Son province with localities of Russia, especially Saint Petersburg city and Moscow capital, thereby concretizing the major orientations of the Party and State on local foreign affairs, promoting substantive and effective cooperation for the common interests of both sides./.
