Choi claimed to possess a 37-minute audio recording containing sensitive discussions about several famous figures and details of his sister's past private life.
This person revealed an audio recording mentioning IU, Lee Ro Bae, Kim Soo Hyun, SM Entertainment, and some details about Sulli's private life.
Choi said, "I have many questions I want to ask, but I'm holding back because I'm thinking of my mother. Last year I only briefly mentioned the film, but I didn't intend to pursue this further. I want to make it clear beforehand that there's nothing untrue about it."
On May 21st, Choi wrote on his personal account: "The moment you crawl out, it will be round 2. The choice is yours." This post was also believed to be aimed at Kim Soo Hyun.

Previously, Choi accused a staff member on Kim Soo Hyun's team of forcing Sulli to film nude and sex scenes while she was working on the movie Real. According to Choi, the original script did not specifically describe nudity or sex scenes. However, Sulli was later forced to film those scenes even though a body double was available on set.
The film Real was directed and produced by Lee Ro Bae, also known as Lee Sa Rang, Kim Soo Hyun's cousin.
In response, Kim Soo Hyun's side stated, "She fully understood and agreed to the revealing scenes from the moment she signed the contract until filming. She completed the filming professionally."
Choi's new statement continues to stir public opinion, especially at a time when Kim Soo Hyun has just been exonerated.
Recently, the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul announced that they have requested an arrest warrant for Kim Se Ui, the representative of the YouTube channel Garo Sero Research Institute. Kim Se Ui, along with the family of actress Kim Sae Ron, accused her of having dated Kim Soo Hyun when she was a minor. However, the police determined that all of these claims were false. In March 2025, YouTuber Kim Se Ui caused a stir when she claimed that Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Sae Ron dated from late 2015 to July 2021. Notably, at that time, the late actress Kim Sae Ron was still a minor. Kim Soo Hyun's side later admitted to the relationship with Kim Sae Ron but denied the timeframe. They stated that the relationship lasted from summer 2019 to fall 2020, after the deceased had already reached adulthood.
