On August 11, the Inspection Delegation of the Central Steering Committee of the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" led by Comrade Luong Quang Thang, Deputy Director of the Department of Grassroots Culture, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, had a working session with the Movement Steering Committee of Ninh Binh city. Receiving and working with the Delegation were leaders of the Department of Culture and Sports; Ninh Binh City People's Committee.

In recent years, the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" has always been focused on leadership, direction and mobilization of all resources for investment and implementation by Party committees and authorities at all levels in Ninh Binh city. Thanks to that, many tasks such as: Building a healthy cultural environment; building "cultural families"; "cultural villages", "cultural residential groups"; the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas"; the movement "Building and recognizing agencies, units and enterprises meeting cultural standards" ... have achieved outstanding results.

Through the implementation of the movements, the quality of life of the local people has been increasingly improved. Good traditional cultural values are preserved and promoted; family and clan ethics and traditions are preserved; the spirit of village community solidarity is promoted and passed on.

In 2022, the city had 34,691/36,086 (96.13%) households achieving the title of Cultural Family; in 2023, the city had 36,290/36,450 (99.56%) families registering to build cultural families; 151/156 agencies, units, and enterprises achieving the cultural title, reaching a rate of 96.7%.

Cultural institutions are increasingly being improved, improving the quality and efficiency of their operations. Up to now, 14/14 communes and wards have Cultural Houses with essential equipment and regular operations, creating conditions for people to participate in cultural, artistic, physical education and sports activities. Currently, the whole city has over 70 sports clubs of 14 communes, wards and business units. The rate of people regularly exercising and playing sports is 45.1%, and sports families are 41.8%...

At the meeting, delegates discussed, shared experiences, and pointed out difficulties and limitations in the process of implementing the contents of the movement. "All people unite to build a cultural life". From there, contribute ideas to build solutions to continue to bring the movement into depth, substance, attract participation, response and responsibility of implementation of all classes of people.

After listening to the report and directly visiting some typical models, the members of the Inspection Team contributed their opinions on the implementation of the core contents of the movement. Accordingly, in order for the movement to achieve more practical results, in the coming time, the city needs to continue to focus on a number of key tasks such as: Strengthening leadership and direction, including the targets and tasks of building a cultural life in resolutions of Party committees, People's Councils, plans of authorities at all levels, agencies and organizations to direct implementation.

Commend and replicate good practices and effective models that create effects in the community. Focus on training and improving the professional qualifications of cultural and information officers from the city to the grassroots. Increase focused investment in infrastructure and institutions for cultural and sports activities to meet the increasing demand for enjoyment of cultural values of all classes of people...
