On November 10, Economic - Defense Group 338, Military Region 1 organized the handover of breeding animals under the project "Socio-economic development - army model associated with ethnic minority people and mountainous areas in Mau Son Economic - Defense Zone, Lang Son province, Military Region 1" and provided guidance on breeding processes for people in communes that were granted breeding animals in 2025.

Implementing the direction of the Military Region 1 Command, recently, Economic-Defense Group 338 has conducted surveys and built a model of breeding buffalo and cows to support households in 10 communes in Mau Son Economic-Defense Zone including: Na Duong, Khuat Xa, Kien Moc, Ba Son, Cong Son, Mau Son, Quoc Khanh, Khang Chien, Quoc Viet, Thuy Hung communes of Lang Son province.

During the program, the leaders of Economic-Defense Group 338, local Party committees and authorities organized the handover of 120 buffaloes and 132 breeding cows to 126 poor and near-poor households in 3 communes: Na Duong, Khuat Xa and Kien Moc. In the following days from November 12 to 19, Economic-Defense Group 338 will hand over and continue to support people in the remaining 7 communes, with more than 200 buffaloes and 200 breeding cows.

Along with that, Economic-Defense Group 338 supported people to upgrade, repair and build barns, instruct people on grass growing techniques; livestock raising processes, disease prevention... The total cost of implementing the program supported by the Ministry of Defense was over 13 billion VND.
