Economic-Defense Group 715 hands over breeding cows to households in border areas

(GLO)- On November 11, in Ia Krai commune (Gia Lai province), Economic-Defense Group 715 (Army Corps 15) handed over breeding cows to 21 poor, near-poor households and ethnic minority households living in 3 communes: Ia O, Ia Chia and Ia Krai.

Attending the program were Colonel Thai Ba Mao - Deputy Chief of Politics of Army Corps 15; leaders and commanders of Economic-Defense Group 715; representatives of local Party committees, authorities and people.

The breeding cow support program is part of Sub-project 3, Project 3 under the National Target Program on Socio -Economic Development in Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas for the 2021-2025 period.

With a total budget of more than 492 million VND, Economic-Defense Group 715 supported 21 breeding cows; at the same time, provided guidance on care and disease prevention techniques to ensure the model is effective, creating stable and sustainable income.
