The Thang Long – Kinh Bac journey is designed as a mobile cultural space, recreating the flavor of Tet in old Hanoi within a contemporary context. Five train carriages, named O Cau Den, O Quan Chuong, O Cau Giay, O Cho Dua, and O Dong Mac, are decorated to evoke traditional living rooms, combining cultural, artistic, culinary , and spiritual experiences.

According to the organizers, the goal is not only to transport passengers, but also to "carry" the feeling of returning home, creating a moment of quiet reflection for visitors to connect with memories and the depth of traditional Tet culture. This model contributes to bringing heritage into life through experiential learning, aligning with the development direction of the cultural industry and creative economy.
Departing from Hanoi Station, the train takes tourists to Tu Son Station (Bac Ninh), the Kinh Bac region, the cradle of Quan Ho folk songs and the birthplace of the Ly Dynasty. Along the journey, tourists can enjoy "Hanoi specialties," immersing themselves in an artistic atmosphere with Quan Ho, Ca Tru, Cheo, Xam, and Trong Quan melodies.
The stop at the Do Temple, dedicated to eight kings of the Ly Dynasty, further clarifies the program's meaning of "returning to the roots." The journey is therefore not just a spring excursion, but also an experience connecting Thang Long and Kinh Bac within the cultural heritage.

Besides sightseeing, the program aims to develop annual cultural tourism products, creating a unique mark for the capital city at the beginning of the year. Combining the railway with creative spaces on board is expected to contribute to diversifying tourism products, increasing the length of stay and spending of tourists, and spreading the value of the heritage of the Red River Delta region.
