The PTSC Quang Ngai Youth Union actively implemented social welfare activities on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2026 (Year of the Horse).

Amidst the vibrant atmosphere of the traditional Lunar New Year, as the joy of family reunions spreads throughout the country, many difficult circumstances still need sharing and support to have a warmer and more fulfilling spring. Understanding and accompanying the community, and upholding the core value of "Compassion" in the motto "Unity - Dynamism - Creativity - Professionalism - Compassion" of the PTSC Quang Ngai brand, the PTSC Quang Ngai Youth Union, in coordination with various agencies and units, organized a series of meaningful social welfare activities during the Spring Festival of the Year of the Horse 2026, contributing to spreading the spirit of social responsibility and commitment to the local community.

In Van Tuong commune, PTSC Quang Ngai, in coordination with the Petroleum Department under the General Department of Logistics and Technology and Binh Son Refinery and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company, organized a program of free medical examinations, health consultations, and medicine distribution combined with a "Zero-Cost Market" for local people. Within the framework of the program, experienced doctors and medical staff from Military Hospital 17 (Logistics and Technology Department, Military Region 5) and the Military Medical Clinic (Quang Ngai Provincial Military Command) directly examined, advised on health issues, and distributed free medicine to over 600 people. The "Zero-Cost Market" was held at the Thuan Phuoc Village Cultural House, distributing 600 Tet gift packages, each worth 1.1 million VND (including essential necessities and cash), to 400 households in the Warehouse 85/Warehouse 182 area and 200 households whose houses and land were confiscated for the Dung Quat Refinery NCMR Project.

Continuing these activities, the Youth Union of PTSC Quang Ngai awarded 10 scholarships totaling 5 million VND to 10 disadvantaged students at Thu Xa High School, Tu Nghia commune, Quang Ngai province, contributing to encouraging them to strive for excellence in their studies.

On January 31, 2026, at the headquarters of the Mobile Police Department, the Youth Union of the Quang Ngai Provincial Police participated in the "Green Sticky Rice Cake Festival 2026" organized by the Youth Committee of the Quang Ngai Provincial Police. More than 150 union members and young people from various youth union branches and affiliated units participated, creating a traditional Tet (Lunar New Year) atmosphere rich in national identity with meaningful activities. This fostered interaction, connection, and the spread of solidarity and sharing among the youth of the units.

In coordination with the People's Security Bloc, we participated in the "Green Sticky Rice Cake Festival 2026".

Continuing its commitment to supporting the local community in caring for the cultural and spiritual well-being of the people, on February 5, 2026, the Youth Union of PTSC Quang Ngai donated 50 million VND to the People's Committee of Van Tuong commune to support the decoration and fireworks display to welcome the traditional Lunar New Year. On the same day, the Youth Union of PTSC Quang Ngai participated in the "Spring of Love" art program organized by the Women's Association of the Quang Ngai Provincial Police and provided 5 million VND to the "Godmother" program, contributing to the care and support of orphaned children, helping them gain more confidence and strength to overcome challenges in life.

On February 6, 2026, the Youth Union of PTSC Quang Ngai, in coordination with the Youth Union of Nghia Lo Ward and the Youth Unions of Vietcombank Quang Ngai, the Provincial People's Committee Office, the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Provincial Political School, and Le Khiet School, organized the "Journey to Red Addresses: Winter Volunteer - Spring of Love" program in Son Ha commune, Quang Ngai province. The program donated 200 gift packages to local people and children, totaling over 70 million VND, contributing to a warm and meaningful Tet holiday for this disadvantaged area, predominantly inhabited by ethnic minorities. As part of the journey, the delegation also visited the Son Nham Martyrs' Memorial, expressing their deep respect and gratitude to the outstanding sons and daughters of the nation who bravely sacrificed their lives for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland; and toured the Thach Nham Hydroelectric Dam, helping the youth union members better understand the historically and socio-economically significant projects of the province.

The "Journey to Red Addresses" program: "Winter Volunteering - Spring of Love"

On the same day, the Youth Union of PTSC Quang Ngai continued to provide 10 million VND to the Mobile Police Department of Quang Ngai Provincial Police to carry out activities such as visiting and giving Tet gifts and the "Quang Trung Campaign" program to build houses for households affected by natural disasters. At the same time, in coordination with the Van Tuong Commune Police, the Youth Union of the Petrochemical Shipbuilding and Mechanical Industry Company, the Youth Union of Binh Son Petroleum Packaging and Trading Joint Stock Company, and Tien Vien Company Limited, they organized the "Spring of Love" program in Van Tuong commune. The program distributed 24 gift packages with a total value of nearly 17,000,000 VND, each package worth 700,000 VND (including 500,000 VND in cash and a gift worth 200,000 VND) to 24 disadvantaged individuals in the commune, contributing to a warm and joyful Tet celebration.

On February 12, 2026, the Youth Union of PTSC Quang Ngai continued its collaboration with the Quang Ngai Provincial Border Guard Command and other units to organize the "Spring Border Guard Program: A Heartwarming Bond Between Soldiers and Civilians" in the Ly Son Special Zone. The program included many practical activities such as making traditional sticky rice cakes (banh chung), providing free medical examinations and medicine, organizing a "Zero-Cost Booth," and holding a cultural evening with gifts for people in difficult circumstances. Also on this occasion, the PTSC Quang Ngai Youth Union donated 100 million VND to support the fireworks display, contributing to bringing a joyful and warm spring to the soldiers and people of the special zone.

The series of social welfare activities during the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026 continues to affirm the pioneering role, responsibility, and community spirit of the PTSC Quang Ngai Youth Union towards the locality.
