
Director of the Vietnam Sports Administration Nguyen Danh Hoang Viet and representatives of the Vietnam Airlines Corporation attended the farewell ceremony, creating a motivating start for the athletes' journey.
Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Director of Vietnam Branch - Vietnam Airlines Le Chi Quan shared his pride that over the years the national airline has always accompanied Vietnamese sports on their journey to conquer the peak.
He emphasized that the trust of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Vietnam Sports Administration is a great source of encouragement for Vietnam Airlines to continue contributing to the development of the country's sports, helping to "give wings to dreams and raise the level of Vietnamese talents to reach out to the world ".
The airline representative also affirmed that they will ensure safe, comfortable flights and 4-star service quality throughout the journey to pick up and drop off the Vietnamese Sports Delegation to Thailand.
In his wishes to the coaches, athletes and all members of the delegation, the representative of Vietnam Airlines expressed his hope that the players will compete with courage, confidence and the highest effort to bring glory to the Fatherland, the people and the fans.

From Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City to Da Nang, a total of 113 members set off on December 7, bringing the total number of teams that have gone to Thailand to 16.
Under the leadership of Head of the Vietnamese Sports Delegation Nguyen Hong Minh, 81 members set off on the morning of December 7, including Delegation officials, coaches and athletes from the Cycling, Canoeing, Swimming, Jet Ski, Sepak Takraw, Gymnastics teams... carrying great determination and expectations when entering the regional arena.

Expressing his gratitude for the thoughtful coordination and emotional farewell ceremony organized by Vietnam Airlines, Deputy Director of the Vietnam Sports Department - Head of the delegation Nguyen Hong Minh affirmed that the Vietnamese Sports Delegation participating in the 33rd SEA Games with 1,165 members, including 842 athletes, 189 coaches, 19 experts, will compete in 47/66 sports, with a total of 443/573 competition events.

He emphasized that the entire delegation set off with the highest determination, carrying within them the will, enthusiasm and Vietnamese spirit to overcome their own limits, aiming for the highest achievements. "The delegation will carry the will in their heads, the fire in their hearts, the strength from within, overcome their own limits, demonstrate the Vietnamese spirit when competing, as instructed by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh at the Departure Ceremony, to compete for the highest achievements, bringing glory to the Fatherland", Head of the delegation Nguyen Hong Minh emphasized.
Radiant in the red uniform of the Vietnam Sports Delegation, rower Nguyen Thi Huong shared that at the previous SEA Games, Canoeing was not included in the competition program, so at this SEA Games, she and her teammates are more determined to strive for the highest results, bringing glory to the Fatherland.
As one of the doctors serving the athletes during the competition at the Games, Dr. Nguyen Van Trien (Vietnam Sports Hospital) was moved: "Although I have accompanied the Vietnamese Sports Delegation 7 times, I am still moved every time. Not only me, but the doctors and technicians in the Delegation will also strive to serve the athletes so that they can compete and achieve the highest results."
In the belief and expectation of fans, it is hoped that with the attention of the Party and State leaders and the careful preparation of the teams, Vietnamese Sports will overcome difficulties and challenges to successfully complete the tasks at the upcoming challenging SEA Games.
