On the penultimate day of the 32nd SEA Games, the Vietnamese sports delegation received much good news when many teams achieved outstanding results. The wrestling team had 6 athletes in the finals, all 6 won gold medals. The fencing team defended the gold medal in the men's sabre team, and the sepak takraw team, for the first time in the history of the SEA Games, won the gold medal in the women's doubles event.
