One of the key factors that helps businesses integrate successfully is the support of local authorities. The authorities have innovated the form and content of propaganda about FTAs; developed e-commerce to enhance trading capabilities, search and expand markets; proactively promoted investment, attracted large investors; supported businesses throughout the production and business process to meet the rules of origin and better take advantage of opportunities from FTAs, especially new generation FTAs.
To improve the effectiveness of business support, the province has established a special working group and established hotlines to serve businesses. The Investment Promotion and Business Support Center plays a key role in specializing in support activities. The “Business Cafe” model creates an open space for exchange between businesses and authorities, contributing to promptly resolving difficulties and problems.
In recent times, the province has continued to promote administrative procedure reform, simplify investment processes and apply information technology in document processing, helping to reduce time and costs for businesses. The regular dialogue mechanism between the government and the business community has been maintained, contributing to improving satisfaction levels and building trust with investors. Every year, the province implements programs to improve the Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI) and organizes many dialogue conferences on the occasion of Vietnam Entrepreneurs Day to receive, respond and promptly resolve business recommendations.
Foreign affairs have been expanded and deepened. The province has maintained effective cooperation with localities in Laos, Japan, Korea, and China; and established relations with many foreign localities such as Italy, Bulgaria, and Cuba. Investment promotion delegations in the US, Europe, and Asia, along with international reception activities, have contributed to promoting the province's image, potential, and investment opportunities to the world .
Currently, the province has more than 40,000 enterprises operating in many fields. Many enterprises take advantage of opportunities from new generation FTAs such as CPTPP, EVFTA, RCEP and trade agreements with Israel and UAE; focusing on restructuring production, innovating technology, improving product quality, building brands to increase export value. Thanks to that, many key products of the province such as tea, processed agricultural products, textiles, electronics... have expanded their markets thanks to tariff incentives.
In the first 10 months of 2025, the province's industrial production index increased by 26.94%; budget revenue is estimated at 47.5 trillion VND, equal to 118% of the central government's estimate; export turnover reached 29.68 billion USD, ranking 4th nationwide.
