Transparency builds credibility and promotes development.
Recent years have shown that the private sector in the province not only plays a driving role in economic growth but also contributes significantly to the state budget. Notably, along with expanding production and improving competitiveness, many businesses have proactively considered compliance with tax laws as a crucial element in management, a foundation for building reputation and long-term development.

Tax officials from Branch 4 provided guidance on the new tax policy to the accounting staff of Khac Bao Wood Processing Co., Ltd. |
A prime example is Khac Bao Wood Processing Co., Ltd. in Luc Son commune. Established in 2021, starting from a small wood peeling workshop, the company has continuously expanded its scale after nearly 5 years of operation. Currently, the company has 3 wood processing facilities in Luc Son and Truong Son communes, providing stable employment for approximately 60 workers, with an average income of over 10 million VND per person per month.
The company's main product is veneer, supplying raw materials to factories producing high-grade film-faced veneer for large construction projects. Average monthly production reaches 3,000 m³, with annual revenue of approximately 120 billion VND. Along with investing in production development, the company always fulfills its tax obligations. In 2025 alone, the enterprise contributed approximately 14 billion VND to the state budget, with no outstanding tax debts, becoming one of the exemplary models in the locality. Mr. Dinh Khac Tang, Director of the company, stated: “Strictly complying with tax obligations is not only a responsibility to the State but also brings practical benefits to the business, helping to ensure financial transparency, build trust with partners, facilitate contract signing, and expand the market.”
In the same spirit, ALPHA Industrial Joint Stock Company in Tan Dinh - Phi Mo Industrial Cluster, Lang Giang commune (established in 2007, operating in the field of steel structure construction and industrial and civil construction projects) has also strictly complied with tax laws for many years, without incurring any outstanding debts. In 2025 alone, the company contributed over 3.2 billion VND to the state budget, making a practical contribution to the province's revenue.
According to the Bac Ninh Provincial Tax Department, in 2025, the private sector and individual business households in the province contributed over 17,900 billion VND to the state budget. Many businesses made significant tax payments, such as Western Pacific Infrastructure Joint Stock Company (185 billion VND), Trung Quy - Bac Ninh Investment Joint Stock Company (188 billion VND), Khai Son Joint Stock Company (178 billion VND), and Asia Food Technology Joint Stock Company (173 billion VND). These figures clearly reflect the role of the private sector and demonstrate a positive shift in tax compliance awareness.
Strengthen communication and support
Alongside private enterprises, the individual business sector – a large and widely distributed force – is also gradually raising awareness and shifting from a passive to a proactive approach in fulfilling its tax obligations.
In rural areas, the business of Ms. Mac Thi Hong in Thanh Hung village, Luc Nam commune, specializing in animal feed since 2006, is a prime example. Thanks to maintaining credibility and ensuring product quality, her family's business maintains a stable revenue of approximately 6-7 billion VND per year. After receiving information and guidance on new regulations from tax officials at the local tax office, her family proactively installed a point-of-sale system with a transaction-by-transaction invoice system connected to the tax authority; they also installed a mobile application to ensure proper tax declarations. Ms. Hong shared: “Thanks to the specific and timely guidance from the tax officials, my family feels secure and avoids errors when fulfilling our tax obligations.”

In the urban area, specifically in Pho Ho residential area, Thuan Thanh ward, the business owned by Ms. Nguyen Thi Mat, specializing in milk products, despite its small scale, always fully complies with tax regulations. Based on her business experience, Ms. Mat hopes that the Tax authorities will continue to strengthen inspections and supervision to ensure fairness and transparency among businesses, preventing inaccurate or incomplete declarations that lead to revenue losses for the state budget.
According to Mr. Do Cong Tien, Head of the Bac Ninh Provincial Tax Department, the positive results in tax compliance by businesses and household businesses are a combination of the taxpayers' self-awareness and the tax sector's comprehensive solutions. The focus is on strengthening communication and support, enhancing dialogue, and resolving difficulties for businesses; and closely coordinating with press and media agencies to disseminate tax policies and laws.
Along with public awareness campaigns, the provincial tax department focuses on promptly commending and rewarding organizations and individuals who fulfill their tax obligations well; at the same time, it publicly and strictly handles tax evasion, tax fraud, and the use of illegal invoices. In management, the department proactively reviews and keeps a close watch on taxpayers, strengthens supervision of high-risk cases, and ensures that 100% of tax declarations are submitted on time.
Experience shows that when tax policies are implemented transparently, fairly, and with timely support and assistance, the business community and households will increasingly consider fulfilling their tax obligations as a civic responsibility. This is a crucial foundation for building a stable and sustainable budget revenue source and promoting socio-economic development of the province in the new period.
