In the article "Difficult Tasks Are MK Group's Specialty," submitted to Dan Tri newspaper on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2026, Mr. Nguyen Trong Khang - Chairman of the Board of Directors of MK Group - frankly shared his desire to "be entrusted with difficult tasks," aiming to fulfill the aspiration of bringing Vietnamese security technology to new heights.
Below is an article by Mr. Nguyen Trong Khang.
Ten outstanding achievements blend seamlessly with the aspiration for self-reliance and resonate with the pulse of important resolutions.
As 2025 draws to a close, it marks a new chapter in the nation's development. In this context, MK Group is not just a technology company, but has become a strategic link in the national security value chain.
2025 will be a landmark year as the Politburo 's Resolutions 57 and 68 come into effect. We firmly believe that businesses can only achieve sustainable development when they are closely linked to the nation's destiny.
Resolution 68 on procedural reform and Resolution 57 on perfecting economic institutions have opened up enormous space for digital transformation. Our company has proactively seized this opportunity, not only providing solutions but also participating in building digital infrastructure and digital security to realize the government's goals.

If I were to name 10 outstanding highlights for 2025, I could point out the milestones that define a breakthrough year for the corporation.
First, we digitized Party membership cards. We successfully implemented a smart Party membership card system, contributing to the modernization of Party work. This also demonstrates the Central Committee's trust in the group's security capabilities.
Secondly, they completed the massive production infrastructure with a 40,000m2 factory in Binh Xuyen ( Vinh Phuc ), which is also the largest center for card and security equipment production in the region.
Thirdly, we exported our card manufacturing plant to Ethiopia. We didn't just sell the product; we "exported" an entire production line to Africa, solidifying our position as a leading international solution provider.
Fourthly, the acquisition of 100% ownership of Alterosa MK – a joint venture between Alterosa Group (Brazil) and MK Group, specializing in payment solutions, smart cards, and fintech services – gives MK Group absolute autonomy in the global supply chain and expands its market share in challenging regions.
Fifth, we became an "extended arm" of the defense industry by signing a comprehensive cooperation agreement and implementing defense mobilization with the General Department of Defense Industry, readying technological resources for security and national defense tasks.

The Government Cipher Committee, in collaboration with the Institute for Advanced Studies in Mathematics and MK Smart (part of MK Group), announced groundbreaking achievements in cryptography and international security standards on the afternoon of February 9th (Photo: TN).
Sixth, we achieved EAL5+ certification for the ICAO (chip passport/ID card) operating system and SAS GSMA for e-SIM. These security certifications are among the most stringent in the world, allowing the corporation to compete on equal footing with global technology giants.
Seventh, the corporation is officially a provider of digital signatures. Being licensed to provide digital signature services helps the corporation complete its "authentication - security - transaction" ecosystem, maximizing its support for the digital economy.
Eighth, we are developing a line of "make in Vietnam" AI cameras, applying artificial intelligence to solve urban security problems and modern business management challenges.
Ninth, the corporation collaborates with the Government Cipher Committee in comprehensive development of cryptographic solutions, ensuring the absolute confidentiality of critical state information flows.
Finally, multilateral international cooperation is key, as the corporation expands its partner network from the US and Europe to the Middle East, strongly propelling Vietnamese technology to a global level.
We have decided to pursue mergers and acquisitions (M&A) abroad with the goal of acquiring core resources and technologies, helping us to quickly realize technological self-reliance. To date, MK Group has acquired three businesses in South Africa, one in Ethiopia, one in Brazil, and one in Hungary.
I long to be given the most challenging problems, I long to be given difficult tasks.
After what we achieved in 2025 with the points mentioned above, our biggest expectation for 2026 is no longer about revenue figures, but rather about "being given challenging tasks."
At MK Group, we have an unwavering belief that challenges are opportunities for growth. Projects that others are hesitant to undertake due to their complexity, stringent security requirements, or lack of precedent are precisely MK's "stage to shine."
We hope that the Government and our partners will trust us with the most challenging problems related to digital sovereignty, national payment infrastructure, or AI camera systems for border security.
I believe no technology company can thrive without government support in the form of task assignments. Therefore, we hope the State will assign us challenging tasks, and businesses like ours will be guaranteed the output. By successfully solving these difficult problems, we will not only have excellent products but also demonstrate that Vietnamese intelligence is not inferior to that of any superpower.
Our vision and mission is to conquer the greatest technological challenges.
First, with the mindset of "technological warriors," we don't seek easy paths but voluntarily venture into fields that demand the highest level of intellectual capacity and absolute security.

Secondly, by participating in solving national challenges, from securing Party membership cards and electronic passports meeting CC EAL5+ standards to building an e-SIM ecosystem, MK Group positions itself as a "solution provider" for Vietnam's digital transformation roadmap.
The next point is the value derived from pressure. We believe that the pressure from the strategic tasks of the Central Committee and the Politburo, such as Resolution 57 and Resolution 68, is the driving force for MK Group to break out of its comfort zone and conquer the international market.
So why is the message "difficult tasks" important to MK Group?
We build strategic trust. The corporation is the number one partner for key agencies such as the Government Cipher Committee and the General Department of Defense Industry. Only units that fully master core technologies, like MK Group does with chips and AI cameras and have successfully implemented them, give us the confidence to take on challenging projects and affirm our leading position.
With inspiration in mind, we create a strong corporate culture where the best engineers want to join us to work on national-scale projects.
In 2026, my expectations are for AI cameras and the defense industry. Additionally, I anticipate exporting smart digital security products abroad, including electronic passports and national identity cards.
The spirit of Resolution 57 is to promote continuous innovation. At MK Group, we don't rest on our laurels. Every identity card, every e-SIM card, or every AI camera algorithm embodies the Vietnamese people's aspiration for self-reliance. 2026 will be the year we accelerate to bring "Vietnamese security technology" to new heights.
