Commenting on Nhu Quynh and Tuan Kiet, teacher Le Thi Thanh Thuy, homeroom teacher of class 12A1, said that both students are exemplary students and are considered the "seeds" of the class.
“During their studies, Tuan Kiet and Nhu Quynh both worked very hard and diligently and achieved outstanding results. They were both in the Chemistry training team and achieved good results in the provincial cultural competition for 12th graders. The good news is that they both achieved high results in the 2025 high school graduation exam in the same group A00. They are the pride of the school, teachers and generations of students of Quang Tri High School,” said Ms. Thuy.
From 8:00 a.m. on July 16, Tuan Kiet's relatives in Trieu Phong commune were overwhelmed with happiness when they saw the total score he achieved in the 2025 high school graduation exam. With a total score of 29.25 in 3 subjects including: Mathematics: 9.5; Physics: 10; Chemistry: 9.75, Kiet not only had the highest score in block A00 at Quang Tri High School but also entered the top 3 candidates with the highest scores in Quang Tri province in this year's exam.
Unable to hide his emotions, Kiet said: “After completing the exam, I predicted my score but did not expect to become one of the candidates with the highest score in the province in block A00. Since knowing my score, I have received many congratulations and encouragement from relatives, teachers and friends. I feel very happy.”
Born and raised in a family with parents who were officials, since childhood, Tuan Kiet has always promoted the spirit of self-study. Setting goals and making every effort in the journey to conquer knowledge, but instead of trying to cram a bunch of mixed knowledge into his head, Kiet chose the method of learning to understand. When understanding the nature, all problems are always easily solved.
During his studies, in addition to listening to his teachers in class, he often searched for more types of questions on the Internet and reviewed and supplemented his knowledge with his classmates. Thanks to that, throughout his 12 years of study, Tuan Kiet has always had excellent academic achievements; won first, second, and third prizes in the provincial Chemistry cultural competition for excellent students in the 2021-2022; 2023-2024, and 2024-2025 school years. Recently, he was honored to join the Party at the age of 18.
For the 2025 high school graduation exam, an exam that is considered to have many historic innovations, Kiet prepared himself in a very comfortable review mindset. He always tried to complete the exam questions during the day and went to bed early to have the best health and spirit.
“Before the official exam, I practiced getting used to the pressure of the exam room by solving the questions within the allotted time. In my opinion, the exam questions this year were not too difficult, especially Physics and Chemistry which were “easier” than I expected,” Tuan Kiet commented. With his current score, he hopes to be able to pass his first choice to enter the Military Medical Academy so that he can best serve his homeland in the future.

The person who shares the top position in block A00 of Quang Tri province with Tuan Kiet is Nguyen Thi Nhu Quynh. This student impresses people with her petite figure, intelligent and active face. With a father who is a teacher working at the Southern Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities in Quang Tri province, since childhood, she has been cared for and oriented in her studies by her parents. "My parents play a role in guiding and supporting me but do not put pressure on me for achievements, this helps me comfortably study what I love," Quynh confided.
Nhu Quynh has a special love for natural sciences and numbers. In this world, she always feels passionate and wants to explore more. According to Quynh, the most important thing when studying natural sciences is to have a solid grasp of the basic knowledge. In class, she focuses on listening to the teachers' lectures. At home, she allocates her time reasonably, combining online lectures with finding more exercises to expand her knowledge.
Nhu Quynh's class is mostly made up of students with good academic performance, Tuan Kiet is an example, so not only does she learn from her teachers, she also learns a lot of useful experiences and knowledge from her friends. When entering the exam preparation period, Quynh maintains studying during the day and goes to bed early at night; studying for 30 minutes to 1 hour, then takes a break for 10-15 minutes. With this learning method, she can still accumulate more knowledge without making her body tense or tired. During the study process, she also spends a lot of time playing sports to both exercise and reduce exam pressure.
For 12 years as an excellent student, in the 2024-2025 school year she was an excellent student at the provincial level in Chemistry, so the fact that Nhu Quynh became the valedictorian of the entire province in block A00 was not too surprising to her friends and teachers. Talking about her future plans, Quynh said that she had just taken the competency assessment exam with the hope of passing the entrance exam to the Police Department. With their tireless efforts, hopefully, both Tuan Kiet and Nhu Quynh will continue to achieve many achievements in university, become useful citizens, and contribute to their homeland.
