During the V.League's temporary suspension for the 2026 Lunar New Year holiday, Ninh Binh FC took advantage of the opportunity to organize two friendly matches to maintain the players' fitness and match fitness.

The team from the ancient capital chose Ho Chi Minh City Youth Club as their opponent in both matches played at their home stadium, Ninh Binh Arena.
