On the afternoon of March 19, the football team of Lao University landed at Tan Son Nhat Airport (HCMC). The student football team from the land of a million elephants was welcomed by the organizing committee to Bat Dat Hotel (District 5, HCMC) to settle down, before starting to practice and compete in the 2025 International Youth Student Tournament - THACO Cup (2025 International Youth Student Tournament - THACO Cup).
The Lao University football team with 26 members arrived at Tan Son Nhat airport on the afternoon of March 19.

Head coach of the Lao University team - Amphaivanh Chanthalavong said that the whole team is very excited and ready to compete in the 2025 International Youth Student Competition - THACO Cup held in Ho Chi Minh City. "This will be a new experience for the entire Lao University team. In particular, Lao students will have the opportunity to exchange and learn in an international tournament, with the participation of students from many countries in the region. We will try our best, contribute to the best matches and strive to win to achieve the best results", Amphaivanh Chanthalavong expressed.

Many Lao student players have their first chance to go abroad to participate in a football tournament. Accordingly, the Lao University team is a group of student players from 4 major universities in the land of a million elephants.

The Lao players were picked up at the airport and taken to the hotel to settle in. Head coach Amphaivanh Chanthalavong said he felt warm and happy when he was warmly welcomed by the organizers.
