The first impression when coming to Chieng Khay Primary School is the spacious, green, clean, and beautiful campus. Mr. Nguyen Van Lam, Principal, said: The school has 52 staff and teachers, 100% of whom meet or exceed the standards; there is 1 main school and 8 satellite schools with 820 students. Right from the beginning of the 2025 - 2026 school year, the school has developed a professional plan to ensure knowledge standards, promote the application of information technology in management and teaching. Currently, 100% of teachers prepare and teach electronic lessons, effectively using teaching software suitable for students.
The school focuses on improving the quality of teaching by sending teachers to professional training courses and organizing professional exchange activities. Professional groups proactively develop teaching plans, strengthen tutoring for weak students and nurture excellent students. Outside of class hours, teachers also manage and guide students to self-study and participate in extracurricular activities. Teacher Tong Thi Moi, Chieng Khay Primary School, shared: Last school year, my colleagues and I had an initiative to help ethnic minority students in grade 5 (2018 program) improve their writing skills, guiding them to outline and complete their writing better. In addition, I regularly get close to and understand the circumstances of each student; discuss with parents to coordinate in educating them to achieve high results in their studies.
The school regularly organizes extracurricular activities with many topics such as traffic safety, drug prevention, competitions, sports activities, culture, arts... attracting a large number of students to participate.
