Team No. 6 of the Market Management Department (Provincial Market Management Sub-department) is tasked with managing the areas of Uong Bi, Vang Danh, Yen Tu, Quang Yen, Dong Mai, Hiep Hoa, Ha An, Phong Coc, and Lien Hoa wards. This area has numerous historical sites, scenic spots, tourist attractions , temples, and pagodas, along with many large-scale festivals that attract tens of thousands of visitors during the Lunar New Year. Notable examples include the Yen Tu Spring Festival, Ba Vang Pagoda, Hang Son Pagoda, Tien Cong Festival, and the traditional Bach Dang Festival…
The vibrancy of the early spring festival season brings new life to the local trade and service sector, but also poses significant challenges for state management. The large crowds easily give rise to risks of commercial fraud, counterfeit goods, substandard products, and food safety and hygiene violations. Recognizing this challenge, instead of waiting until the official opening of the festival, even before the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Horse, Market Management Team No. 6 proactively coordinated with local authorities and relevant agencies to strengthen propaganda and management of the business environment, contributing to creating a positive image in the eyes of tourists visiting the area for sightseeing, festivals, and temple ceremonies.
Mr. Tran Minh Duc, Deputy Team Leader of Market Management Team No. 6, said: “Identifying market management during the festival season as a key and important task, we have promptly developed a specific plan and assigned officers to be on duty at the locations where spring festivals are held. The highest goal is to strictly control price listing, ensure goods are sold at the listed price, and thoroughly prevent counterfeit goods and goods of unknown origin, ensuring safety for festival-goers.”

The team also proactively advised units and localities on organizing spring festivals to ensure compliance with regulations and in accordance with traditional customs. In particular, the quality of services at accommodation and food establishments in tourist destinations was thoroughly reviewed to detect and promptly address violations from their initial stages.
The Yen Tu historical and scenic site always attracts a large number of tourists during the spring festival. To create a healthy business environment, since the beginning of 2026, Market Management Team No. 6 has organized a conference to disseminate information and sign commitments with more than 200 business households in the area. The commitments focus on strictly adhering to public price listing, selling at the listed prices, and complying with food safety and hygiene regulations.
Thanks to the regular monitoring and reminders from the Market Management Force, commercial activities in Yen Tu in particular and the managed area in general have remained stable over the past period, with no instances of price gouging or harassment of tourists. All goods on display have clear origins, creating trust and a positive impression among visitors from all over.
Ms. Pham Thi Hang, a business owner running a food service business in the Yen Tu historical and scenic area, shared: “Thanks to the dissemination of information and guidance from the Market Management Force, we voluntarily comply with price listing regulations and only import goods with clear origins and guaranteed food safety.” This consensus from both the people and businesses is the most positive sign, creating a healthy and civilized business environment.
According to statistics, from the beginning of 2026 to the present, Market Management Team No. 6 has conducted inspections of hundreds of business establishments in the area. The regular and continuous presence of the Market Management force has created a strong deterrent effect, bringing business activities into order.
Forecasts indicate that pressure will continue to increase in the coming period, especially as the peak of the spring festivals approaches. In light of this situation, the leaders of Market Management Team No. 6 affirmed that they will continue to maintain their forces, closely coordinating with relevant departments and localities to closely monitor the area and prevent unexpected "hot spots" regarding prices or product quality. This will significantly contribute to affirming Quang Ninh's tourism brand as a safe, civilized, and attractive destination welcoming visitors from all over during the new spring season.
