On May 13, Hanoi FC announced the first contract for the 2025/26 season: midfielder Hendrio - "former player" of Nam Dinh Blue Steel Club.
“Personally, I see myself as a conqueror. I came to Hanoi FC because this is a team with a clear plan and great ambition. I came with the desire to contribute, assert myself and conquer titles with the team.
I love the country and people of Vietnam. I want to give my best to the team and if I have the chance, it will be the Vietnam team. The fans always give me enthusiastic support, I try my best to repay that love," Hendrio shared.
Hendrio once trained at La Masia (Spain). The midfielder born in 1994 arrived in Vietnam in 2021, and in the 2022 season, the Brazilian midfielder helped Binh Dinh finish 3rd in the V-League.
In the 2023/24 season, Hendrio played impressively for Nam Dinh, scoring 12 goals and having 13 assists, contributing greatly to helping the team from Thanh Nam win the V-League championship after 39 years. This season, he was the most important partner helping Xuan Son win the Golden Boot with 31 goals.
After 5 seasons playing in Vietnam, Hendrio has 29 goals and 31 assists. Arriving at Hanoi FC, he is expected to help the capital team conquer new heights.
