
According to VNA correspondent in Germany, the working delegation included representatives of the Party Central Committee Office, the Central Theoretical Council, leaders of a number of specialized units of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs .

During the working trip, Ms. Nguyen Thuy Anh met with Vice President of the German Parliament Bodo Ramelow; met with Co-Chairman of the German Left Party Jan van Aken and worked with Special Envoy of the German Government for the Asia- Pacific region Joachim Bertele.
In the state of Mecklenburg-West Pomerania (Mecklenburg-Vorpommern) in Northern Germany, the delegation worked with Mr. Torsten Koplin - Chairman of the Left Party Parliamentary Group in the state parliament; met with Ms. Jacqueline Bernhardt - Minister of Justice of the state and Mr. Hennis Herbst - Chairman of the Left Party Group in this state.


The delegation also visited and worked with officials of the Vietnamese Embassy in Berlin.
On November 24, Ms. Nguyen Thuy Anh and Mr. Maximilian Schirmer - Vice President of the German Left Party - co-chaired the 6th Policy Dialogue between the two Parties.

At the Policy Dialogue and meetings, Ms. Nguyen Thuy Anh affirmed that the Party and State of Vietnam always attach importance to developing the Strategic Partnership with Germany - Vietnam's leading partner in Europe; highly appreciate Germany's leading role in the European Union (EU) and cherish the long-standing friendship between the two peoples. She also expressed her gratitude to the German Left Party leaders for sending congratulatory letters to Vietnam on major events such as the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification.
During the talks, Ms. Nguyen Thuy Anh informed the German side about the achievements in all aspects of development as well as the results of administrative reform, streamlining the apparatus, and institutional breakthroughs of Vietnam in the past year, and measures to realize the two 100-year goals of the nation: becoming a modern industrialized country with high average income by 2030 and a developed country with high income by 2045, emphasizing that science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation are the focus, removing institutional bottlenecks will be the "breakthrough of breakthroughs" to bring the country to develop quickly and sustainably, entering a new era, the era of the Vietnamese people's rise.
In a friendly, open, frank and trusting atmosphere, the two sides participating in the Dialogue informed each other about the situation in each country, the guidelines, policies and development goals of the two Parties and two countries; the issues facing each Party and each country in the international and regional context with many major and complicated changes; and at the same time shared practical experiences of each Party in Party building, propaganda and mass mobilization, and socio-economic development at the local and central levels.
The two sides emphasized that strongly promoting the development of science and technology, innovation, digital transformation and institutional reform are the right and breakthrough directions to develop the country quickly and sustainably, ensuring benefits for workers and vulnerable groups.
The two sides also discussed international and regional issues of mutual concern; agreed on the need to strengthen cooperation and coordinate the stances of the two Parties, thereby contributing to promoting comprehensive cooperation between the two countries, actively contributing to peace, stability and sustainable development in the region and the world.
The two sides support the settlement of disputes and conflicts by peaceful means, on the basis of respect for international law and the fundamental principles of the United Nations Charter.
During the exchange, the German leaders and the German Left Party both expressed their impressions and congratulated Vietnam on its development achievements and determination to innovate in recent times, as well as believed that Vietnam will achieve the major goals set in the new era.
The German Left Party agreed that the Policy Dialogue is an effective cooperation channel for the two Parties to better understand each other's situation and world trends, and to share views on many theoretical and practical issues of mutual concern at the national, regional and global levels such as decentralization, balancing local budget revenues and expenditures, reducing the gap between rich and poor, social injustice, and environmental protection.

The two sides agreed on the importance of continuing to promote stronger cooperation between the two countries in areas such as trade and investment, education and training, science and technology, justice, gender equality, culture and people-to-people exchange, labor and vocational training, especially at the local level.
The two sides agreed to hold the 7th Policy Dialogue in Vietnam in 2026.
