At the upcoming 2025 SEA Games in Thailand, the Vietnamese shooting team is among the sports that have registered to win the most Gold Medals (HCV) of the Vietnamese Sports Delegation. Vietnamese shooters aim for 7-8 Gold Medals, thereby contributing to the overall achievements of the delegation. Vietnamese shooters will participate in both pistol and rifle competitions, as well as sport shooting (trap, skeet, compak).

Recently, 10 key athletes of the air pistol group of the Vietnam Shooting Team have left for Korea for training.
