On the afternoon of June 27, the Vietnam Women's Football Team returned home after a 3-week training and friendly match in Europe.
The Vietnam Football Federation and sponsors held a ceremony to welcome and honor the female players who won the 32nd SEA Games Gold Medal and many other outstanding achievements of the team.
According to Mr. Duong Nghiep Khoi, General Secretary of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), Vietnamese Women's Football has achieved many feats, including winning the SEA Games Gold Medal for the fourth consecutive time and qualifying for the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup for the first time.
Referring to the recent friendly match with the impressive spirit and results of the Vietnam Women's Team, Mr. Duong Nghiep Khoi said that the friendly match between the German Women's Team and the Vietnam Women's Team received great attention from the world media.
On the journey to the open sea, the Vietnam Women's Football Team will have the opportunity to meet strong teams such as the US Women's Football Team, the Netherlands, and Portugal, but nothing can be stronger than the determination and fighting spirit of the Vietnamese female players.
